Specially developed for filling waterproof and weather-resistant joints in traditional wood, this versatile marine sealant bonds well to standard substrates in shipbuilding. For wood and teak decks requiring excellent waterproofing and weather resistance, Sika developed Sikaflex-290 DC. The product is easy to apply, offers excellent UV resistance, and is a one-component polyurethane deck caulking sealant. After curing, it can be sanded to form an attractive, neat surface. I-CURE curing technology minimizes bubble formation. Suitable for marine and yacht structures.
